The Princess of Wales hаs thanked people around the world for thеir messages of support after she bravely revealed her cancer bаttle.
Princess Kate “will appear” at Trooping the Colour as long as she is “feeling well enough”, a royal commentator has claimed.
Kate, who began cancer treatment earlier this year, would have been due to take the salute on June 8 in normal circumstances in her role as Colonel of the Irish Guards.Speaking to GB News royal correspondent Kinsey Schofield said: “Last week, we discussed Tom Sykes report from The Daily Beast that she could be out until 2025.
“Then the reports that we could see her as early as autumn. Then earlier this week, it was reported that she would not attend Trooping of the Colour rehearsals next week.
Princess Kate will appear as long as she is feeling better
“But now some good news. Now The Mirror is reporting that Catherine is considering a trooping balcony appearance. Depending on the way she is feeling that weekend.
“Look, I think everyone just wants her to feel better and be better. And in this scenario, her popularity is both a blessing and a curse.
“We all miss the grace and kindness she brings to the monarchy, but we really have to leave her alone until she’s ready to return herself, but I do.
“I’m with you. I’m praying for her recovery and I miss seeing her. She’s gorgeous and she always was. Just a burst of joy.”
Kate is continuing to recuperate in private during her chemotherapy and stated she will only return when her medical team give her permission.
Lieutenant General James Bucknall, former commander of the Allied Rapid Reaction Corps, will be the inspecting officer on Kate’s behalf for the Colonel’s Review.
Buckingham Palace also announced on Thursday that King Charles will travel in a carriage with Queen Camilla on June 15 as opposed to being on horseback.
Charles, 75, will conduct the review of soldiers at his official birthday parade from an Ascot Landau carriage with Camilla, which is understood to be an adaptation based on doctors’ advice.
It comes after the Army removed a claim made in March on its website that Kate would be appearing at Trooping the Colour and had begun selling tickets, which caused confusion after Kensington Palace said it had not confirmed her attendance.
GB News understands the attendance of other Royal Family members at Trooping the Colour will be confirmed nearer the time.
On March 5, the Ministry of Defence removed a claim made on its website that Kate would attend events to mark Trooping the Colour.
Tickets had gone on sale via the Army website advertising Kate reviewing a “practice” parade for the first time on June 8 in her role as honorary colonel of the Irish Guards. It also announced that Charles would be reviewing his own official birthday parade on June 15 at Horse Guards.
However, within minutes of the tickets going on sale, there were warnings that the MoD may have “jumped the gun”.
Kensington Palace sources made clear that they were “not consulted” on the MoD announcement.
Buckingham Palace also confirmed at the time that planning for future engagements was continuing despite the King’s cancer treatment, yet stressed changes could be made nearer the time depending on his health.
