Singer-songwriter Katy Perry recently stirred up criticism after she posted three photos and a video on Instagram, in which she donned a skimpy two-piece red bikini and visor.
The Grammy-winning musician posed on a balcony, basking in the sunlight while drinking a can of Drink De Soi, a non-alcoholic beverage brand she co-founded with Morgan McLachlan last January.

In the video, which was also shared on TikTok, Perry continued posing with her drink, occasionally switching angles and running her fingers through her long black hair.

Another part of the clip showed her walking up the stairs with the same beverage, this time wearing a stylish, see-through dress adorned with large sequins and paired with chic heels.

In the next photo, she sat by the stairs, posing with her head tilted sideways as she sipped her drink. Perry had no full captions to describe her post, except for a simple heart emoji.

The acclaimed musician also gave fans another glimpse of her stylish ensemble against the picturesque exterior of a building, featuring a wrought iron balcony with intricate detailing on the second floor and tall, rectangular windows.

Another snap showed the “Dark Horse” hitmaker posing in a skimpy swimsuit in the middle part of the balcony, holding a drink in her left hand while raising her right leg.
When the “Firework” crooner shared her daring new post, netizens felt unimpressed. One bewildered commenter simply stated, “WHAT IS THIS.”

Another user labeled the singer’s post as “Unethical.” Additionally, someone remarked, “Ur getting old katy,” implying they felt Perry’s post was inappropriate for her age.

On the flip side, Perry’s fans rallied with enthusiastic support. One admirer expressed surprise but hinted at approval with heart-eyes and hands-up emojis, asking, “Girl what are you doing?”
