Kidman, born to Australian parents in the U.S., began her career in the entertainment industry at the age of 16. The adolescent starred in a retelling of an iconic Australian film, “Bush Christmas,” in 1983. In the same year, the emerging actress secured a minor role on “Five Mile Creek.” Kidman’s career didn’t truly flourish until the late 1980s and early ’90s.

One movie that had a profound impact was Philip Noyce’s 1989 thriller “Dead Calm.” Its success resulted in the emergence of other roles that defined careers. Kidman proceeded her role in the thriller with a part in “Days of Thunder,” the initial of three movies where she co-starred with her first spouse, Tom Cruise. Due to the movie’s financial prosperity, she promptly became a fixture in Hollywood.

Lately, she has gained recognition as one of the most skilled actresses on television, receiving numerous awards for her performance in HBO’s “Big Little Lies.”

Kidman started her career in 1983 and is most famous for her performances in the movies “Eyes Wide Shut” and “The Hours,” for which she received accolades.

Even though having a family hasn’t affected Kidman’s career, she did admit that she considered quitting acting in order to focus on raising her children. Fortunately, Kidman received some valuable advice from her mother, Janelle, that motivated her to persevere – a stroke of luck for everyone involved! In truth, Kidman has discussed how her mother and younger sister are the ones she depends on for guidance in her life.

Kidman’s career is still on a great path, making her one of the most well-known women in Hollywood currently. Despite being surrounded by fame and stardom, Kidman remains a modest woman. In 2019, Kidman discussed the impact “Big Little Lies” has had on her career and offered a glimpse into her personal life.

Prior to the second season of the show, Kidman expressed that collaborating with the cast, made up of five female leads including herself, Reese Witherspoon, Laura Dern, Zoë Kravitz, and Shailene Woodley, was a standout part of her time working on the series.

It’s wonderful to witness Zoë and Shailene mature and evolve into women because I’ve never experienced that before. I am aware that Laura and Reese share the same sentiment. Kidman told Vanity Fair that despite our differences, we all complement each other.

Kidman also disclosed that she and her fellow actresses have a group chat, with the addition of Meryl Streep, who joined the cast in the second season.

“Could you believe that we have the opportunity to dine with Meryl every week?” Can’t you listen to her stories? Kidman described it as years of actresses being separated, until finally they allowed us to mix together. “You can only envision”

Kidman said that many of her friends make fun of her belief.

Recently, Kidman discussed her part in Aaron Sorkin’s “Being the Ricardos,” focusing on Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz’s relationship.

This movie suggests that it is possible for a special connection to grow and for traces of it to last indefinitely. Wow, that is truly beautiful. It’s impossible to control how others act, and you may end up falling for someone who is not your lifelong partner. I believe that is all very easy to identify with. You could potentially have children with those individuals. Kidman mentioned in a December 2021 interview with The Guardian that you may not believe it, but they were deeply in love.

If you believe the actress was referring to her former spouse, Tom Cruise, you are mistaken. When the interviewer asked the question with great attention, Kidman appeared slightly offended.

“Oh, dear Lord, no, no. Definitely not. Absolutely not. So much time has passed that it’s no longer relevant to this situation. Kidman said, “No, not at all.”

When the interviewer asked Kidman for more details about her personal life and fame, she seemed to prefer keeping her life as private as she can.

No, I must ensure their safety. Kidman said she has learned to stay quiet when it comes to her family.

Kidman is set to appear in the film “The Northman” by Robert Eggers, scheduled for release in April 2022.
